Python Software Developer (Capital Market)

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications for trading and financial analysis
• Build algorithms for market data processing, pricing, and risk analysis
• Work on automation of trading strategies and backtesting models
• Integrate APIs for stock exchanges, brokers, and financial data providers
• Optimize code for performance in real-time trading environments
• Collaborate with traders, analysts, and risk teams to implement solutions
• Ensure software reliability, security, and compliance with financial regulations

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• Certification in Python / Financial Markets (preferred)

Experience

• 1–5 years in Python development
• Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or capital markets preferred

Skills

• Strong in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Flask/Django)
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms & OOP
• Understanding of stock markets, derivatives, and trading systems
• Experience with REST APIs & databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Familiarity with Git, Linux, and cloud platforms
