Role & Responsibilities
Assist in research activities related to development of nanostructured MoS₂ based SERS and FET biosensors
Support experimental setup, data collection, analysis and documentation
Perform laboratory work involving biosensors and nanomaterials
Maintain laboratory records, reports and research documentation
Assist Principal Investigators in project execution and reporting
Follow laboratory safety procedures, SOPs and institutional research guidelines
Qualification
M.Sc / M.Tech / Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Biosciences, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
Candidates must have CSIR-UGC NET / GATE or national level qualifying examination
Candidates without NET/GATE may also apply (lower fellowship applicable)
Experience
Minimum 1 year experience in nanoscience / nanotechnology preferred
Skills
Basic laboratory and analytical research skills
Data documentation and reporting
MS Office and scientific documentation
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and in a team
Age Limit
Maximum 50 years as on 12 January 2026
Age relaxation as per Government of India rules

This DHR-ICMR funded research project focuses on development of nanostructured MoS₂ based SERS and FET biosensors for ultrasensitive detection of biomarkers for Cerebral Ischemia
