Project Assistant (PA)

Role & Responsibilities
Assist in research activities related to emerging pollutants and fingerprint analysis
Support sample collection, preparation, and laboratory experimentation
Perform analytical testing and documentation of experimental data
Maintain laboratory records, reports, and project documentation
Assist the Principal Investigator in research coordination and reporting
Support data compilation, analysis, and presentation of project results
Follow laboratory safety, SOPs, and institutional research guidelines

Qualification
Essential and desirable qualifications will be as per the detailed advertisement (Annexure I)
Candidates must fulfill eligibility criteria specified by the funding agency (NMCG)

Experience
Research or laboratory exposure in pharmaceutical / environmental / analytical sciences preferred

Skills
Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and analytical instruments
Data recording and report preparation
MS Office and computer documentation
Attention to detail and research accuracy
Ability to work in a team and follow SOPs

Age Limit
Maximum age as mentioned in the detailed advertisement
Age relaxation for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates as per GoI rules

About the Project
This project is sponsored by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) and focuses on the characterization of emerging environmental pollutants and fingerprint analysis to support clean water initiatives under Government of India programmes

Selection & Preference
SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per Government of India rules
Appointment is strictly project-based and co-terminus with project duration
