PPC Executive (Product Planning & Control)

Roles & Responsibilities
Production Planning & Control
• Prepare monthly, weekly, and daily production plans based on sales forecasts and demand projections
• Develop and monitor production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing and dispatch
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to resolve production bottlenecks and capacity constraints
• Align production priorities with business requirements and delivery timelines

Material Planning & Inventory Control
• Perform Material Requirement Planning (MRP) for raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods
• Ensure optimum inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and overstock situations
• Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory and initiate corrective actions
• Track batch-wise material consumption and reconcile inventory records

Coordination & Documentation
• Coordinate closely with Purchase, Stores, QA, QC, and Production departments
• Ensure availability of approved raw and packing materials as per production schedules
• Maintain production planning records and documentation in compliance with GMP guidelines
• Support smooth batch execution through effective cross-functional communication

Reporting & Compliance
• Prepare MIS reports related to production performance, inventory status, and dispatch tracking
• Monitor KPIs related to production efficiency and inventory turnover
• Ensure compliance with GMP standards, regulatory requirements, and internal SOPs
• Support internal and external audits, including regulatory inspections

Qualification
• B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) / M.Pharm (Master of Pharmacy)
• B.Sc / M.Sc
• B.Tech (Chemical / Production) or equivalent
• Certification in Supply Chain or Production Planning (preferred)

Experience
• Proven experience in PPC (Product Planning & Control) within Pharmaceutical or Nutraceutical industry (Mandatory)
• Hands-on experience in MRP, inventory management, and production scheduling
• Understanding of batch manufacturing processes and regulatory compliance

Skills
• Strong knowledge of MRP systems and inventory control practices
• Good understanding of batch manufacturing and production workflows
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Effective coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Strong documentation and reporting capabilities
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
