Population Primary Health Care Clinical Pharmacist
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and provide safe clinical pharmacy services at ASCC and the Police Watch House
• Assist the Senior Pharmacist in managing contracts
• Contribute to development of guidelines for Custodial Health Medicines Management
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe drug distribution and accurate record maintenance
• Lead and support quality improvement initiatives
• Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care and expert clinical advice
Qualification:
• Recognised degree in Pharmacy
• Mandatory registration as a Pharmacist in Australia (Pharmacy Board of Australia)
Experience:
• Sound clinical pharmacy knowledge and current practice skills
• Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings preferred
Skills:
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
• Cultural awareness and ability to work with diverse communities
• Willingness to travel within the Northern Territory as required
