Physiotherapy Counsellor-Oncology

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide personalized physiotherapy care to oncology patients
• Conduct regular physical assessments and monitor patient progress
• Develop, implement, and modify physiotherapy treatment plans
• Offer emotional support and counseling to patients throughout their treatment journey
• Educate patients and families on physiotherapy techniques and long-term benefits
• Maintain accurate patient records and therapy documentation
• Coordinate with oncologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Ensure ethical, compassionate, and patient-centric care delivery

Qualification
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution

Experience
• Prior experience in oncology physiotherapy preferred
• Experience in patient assessment and rehabilitation programs

Skills Required
• Strong knowledge of physiotherapy with an oncology focus
• Excellent communication and counseling skills
• Empathy and compassion in patient handling
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in maintaining patient records and healthcare software systems
