Physiotherapy Assistant

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support older adults in maintaining and improving mobility through individualized care plans
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, massage, and aromatherapy treatments
• Implement physiotherapy programs under the guidance of healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the clinical team
• Maintain high standards of clinical and compassionate care
• Assist in planning daily activities and ensuring effective service delivery
• Foster a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for residents
• Collaborate with team members to enhance patient wellbeing

QUALIFICATION:
• Certificate III in Allied Health or currently working towards a Diploma in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy

EXPERIENCE:
• Prior experience in aged care, rehabilitation, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred
• Experience supporting mobility programs is advantageous

SKILLS:
• Strong planning and organizational abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• High level of empathy and commitment to quality care
