About the Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Assess residents’ functional abilities, goals, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and deliver personalised Active Living and structured rehabilitation programs.
• Conduct 1:1 therapy sessions and group exercise programs to improve strength, mobility, balance, and cognition.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams for person-centred care.
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
• Stay updated with latest research and best practices in aged care physiotherapy.
• Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development activities.
Qualification:
• Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent).
• Current AHPRA registration (mandatory).
Experience:
• Graduate Physiotherapists welcome to apply.
• Experience in aged care or rehabilitation preferred but not essential.
Skills:
• Strong rehabilitation and exercise prescription skills.
• Person-centred care approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building ability.
• Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
Mandatory Requirements:
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Working With Children Check.
