About the Role
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-level, evidence-based physiotherapy services across the continuum of care within STARS, working as part of an interprofessional team.
• Provide complex and varied clinical services with minimal direct supervision, adhering to professional and ethical standards.
• Offer timely, high-level clinical advice to health professionals, supervisors, and stakeholders regarding physiotherapy management and service delivery.
• Monitor and report on clinical practices and outcomes within specialist service areas.
• Advocate for service improvements, including implementation of guidelines, equipment advancements, and business improvement initiatives.
• Support prioritisation processes and adapt to changes in clinical practice and technology.
• Contribute to Metro North Health’s Health Equity agenda, including culturally safe and responsive healthcare delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Qualification:
• Qualification in Physiotherapy.
• Current AHPRA Registration.
Experience:
• Extensive clinical experience in physiotherapy across complex and varied caseloads.
• Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision and high-level clinical advice.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams in hospital or rehabilitation settings preferred.
Skills:
• Advanced clinical reasoning and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and clinical supervision capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
