About the Role

Roles and responsibilities
• Deliver advanced, specialist physiotherapy services within the Cancer Care Service using evidence-based, client-centred approaches.
• Manage a complex and varied caseload with minimal direct clinical supervision.
• Work collaboratively within an inter-professional multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes and quality of life.
• Contribute to clinical research activities within Physiotherapy and the broader multidisciplinary team.
• Support service and caseload planning within the Physiotherapy and Cancer Care Service.
• Monitor, evaluate and report on clinical practices and patient outcomes.
• Provide clinical education, mentoring and supervision to junior staff and students.
• Actively contribute to health equity initiatives, including culturally safe and responsive healthcare delivery for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Qualifications
• Tertiary Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Eligibility to practice as a Physiotherapist in Australia.

Experience
• Demonstrated experience delivering high-level physiotherapy services in oncology or complex clinical settings.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Experience in clinical supervision, mentoring, or education of junior staff and students.
• Involvement in research, quality improvement, or service development activities is desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
