Physiotherapist

Role & Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological conditions including stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s  disease, cerebral palsy, and multiple sclerosis
• Evaluate muscle tone, balance, coordination, gait, posture, and functional mobility
• Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on assessment findings and patient-specific rehabilitation goals
• Define and review short-term and long-term treatment goals in coordination with patients and the healthcare team
• Implement evidence-based neurophysiotherapy techniques such as NDT (Neurodevelopmental Therapy), PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), Bobath concept, motor relearning programs, and functional electrical stimulation
• Utilize mobility aids, balance equipment, and assistive technologies to improve patient independence
• Monitor patient progress regularly and modify treatment plans based on recovery outcomes
• Document assessments, therapy sessions, and patient progress accurately in clinical records
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, posture correction, transfers, fall prevention, and home exercise programs
• Provide motivation and psychological support to enhance patient compliance and recovery
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team including occupational therapists, speech therapists, psychologists, and neurologists

Qualification:
• BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy)

Experience:
• Freshers and experienced candidates can apply
• Prior experience in neuro rehabilitation or patient monitoring will be an added advantage

Skills Required:
• Patient monitoring and diagnostic evaluation skills
• Strong knowledge of neurophysiotherapy techniques
• Clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
• Effective communication and caregiver counseling skills
• Documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
