Physiotherapist

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide safe, effective, evidence-based, and comprehensive physiotherapy services
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with acute, complex, and multi-pathology conditions
• Formulate and deliver individualized physiotherapy treatment programs using advanced clinical reasoning
• Utilize manual therapy, electrotherapy, exercise therapy, patient education, and assistive devices
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Supervise junior staff and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures
• Deputize for the Senior Physiotherapist when required
• Maintain and monitor adequate stock of equipment and supplies; report shortages promptly
• Ensure safe and competent use of all physiotherapy, gym, pool, and electrotherapy equipment
• Perform home physiotherapy services and travel with patients within or outside the UAE when required
• Maintain accurate documentation of all interventions and patient records
• Comply with safety, infection control, quality assurance, and SOP guidelines
• Participate in clinical audits and continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Safeguard patients from any form of abuse or misuse of power
• Assist in training and supervision of students when required

QUALIFICATION:
• Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy or equivalent
• Relevant professional certification as required by regulatory authorities

EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Physiotherapist in a large hospital, acute care, or rehabilitation facility
• Preferred experience in ICU, acute medical/surgical settings
• At least 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience (desirable)

• Advanced clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based physiotherapy practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Leadership and supervisory capabilities
