Responsibilities
• Provide clinical leadership and physiotherapy services across the facility
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care and mobility plans
• Monitor residents’ mobility, pain management, and reablement goals
• Lead falls prevention strategies and manual handling practices
• Oversee safe use and monitoring of mobility aids and equipment
• Ensure equipment maintenance, review, and safe storage
• Implement and monitor sensor technology for falls prevention and resident safety
• Review sensor data trends to inform risk assessments and care planning
• Support AN-ACC documentation and evidence-based care planning
• Guide and educate clinical and care staff on best practice physiotherapy interventions
• Contribute to pre-admission assessments and clinical input during admissions
Required Qualification
• Current registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
Experience and Skills
• Leadership and strong communication skills
• Knowledge of AN-ACC requirements and Aged Care Quality Standards
• Extensive experience delivering and supervising clinical care in Residential Aged Care
• Experience with falls prevention strategies and sensor-based monitoring
• Customer service focus with ability to engage positively with residents and families
