About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Provide paediatric physiotherapy services as part of the Children’s Development Team
• Deliver assessment and intervention for children in Alice Springs
• Travel to remote communities across Central Australia and Barkly regions to provide outreach services
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Deliver culturally responsive, person-centred care
• Contribute to service development and community health outcomes
Qualifications:
• Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy
• Eligibility for practising membership with AHPRA
Experience:
• Experience in paediatric physiotherapy preferred
• Experience working in multidisciplinary or community settings advantageous
• Experience in remote or Aboriginal health settings desirable
Skills:
• Strong paediatric assessment and treatment skills
• Ability to work independently in remote and outreach settings
• Cultural competence and commitment to person-centred practice
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Adaptability and resilience in diverse clinical environments
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel by 4WD and light aircraft
