Roles & Responsibilities
• Assess patients’ mental, emotional, and behavioural conditions
• Conduct detailed psychological evaluations and therapy sessions
• Develop personalised psychotherapy and treatment plans
• Provide counselling and therapeutic interventions as per patient needs
• Support patients in managing stress, trauma, anxiety, and emotional difficulties
• Educate patients on coping strategies, mental well-being, and lifestyle changes
• Monitor patient progress and revise therapy plans when required
• Maintain accurate patient records, notes, and reports
• Work collaboratively with doctors and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure ethical, compassionate, and patient-centred care
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or relevant field
• Master’s Degree in Psychology / Psychotherapy – preferred
• Recognised qualification to practice psychotherapy in India
Experience
• Clinical experience in psychotherapy or counselling – preferred
• Experience in hospital, clinic, rehabilitation, or healthcare settings – preferred
• Freshers with appropriate qualifications may apply
