Role & Responsibilities
• Independently assess, analyze, and provide clinical diagnosis for patients to determine the need for physiotherapy intervention
• Plan, implement, evaluate, treat, and progress patient care to maximize rehabilitation potential
• Manage caseloads of athletes and non-athletes effectively and efficiently
• Contribute to evidence-based practice and development of assessment and treatment protocols
• Decide on discharge planning for patients independently or with Senior Physiotherapist
• Assist with continuing education and in-service training of staff
• Participate in research projects and contribute to departmental initiatives
• Maintain ethical and professional behavior when treating athletes/patients
• Participate in clinical audits to support clinical governance strategy
• Ensure accurate patient documentation and statistical records using Cerner
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care
Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (required)
• Master’s degree in Sports Physiotherapy (desired)
Experience
• 6–8 years of physiotherapy experience, including 2–3 years in a similar position
• Experience in managing orthopaedic and sports physiotherapy caseloads independently
Skills
• Sports physiotherapy background
• Ability to manage patient care and treatment protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Research and evidence-based practice involvement
• Proficient in using Cerner for charting and documentation
