Active Lifestyle Physiotherapy is seeking a Part-Time Physiotherapist for an immediate start in Dural, North West Sydney. Full-time opportunities may be available across other northwest Sydney locations for suitable candidates. The role involves delivering physiotherapy services within aged care facilities, including assessments, care planning, exercise programs, and education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physiotherapy and allied health treatments
• Conduct allied health assessments
• Develop exercise programs and individualised care plans
• Run group exercise classes
• Implement pain management programs
• Communicate with residents, families, nursing staff, medical practitioners, and allied health teams
• Facilitate falls prevention workshops and manual handling training
• Provide staff education sessions

Required Qualification

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent internationally recognised qualification
• Current AHPRA Registration
• National Police Certificate (can be completed post hiring)
• Full Australian working rights

Experience and Skills

• Experience in aged care (preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Knowledge of care planning and exercise prescription
• Ability to manage caseload independently
