Physiotherapist (Homecare)

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed patient assessments to evaluate current functional status and presenting problems.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized physiotherapy treatment programs.
• Ensure safe and effective discharge planning, including home care programs and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in patient records and Hospital Information System (HIS) within 24 hours of service.
• Communicate patient progress with consultants and interdisciplinary teams through documentation and meetings.
• Participate in continuing education, departmental meetings, and team activities.
• Supervise physiotherapy students, assistants, and volunteers; provide feedback and maintain clinical documentation.
• Organize and conduct in-service training sessions for staff.
• Adhere to infection control policies, safe patient handling practices, and departmental procedures.
• Maintain physiotherapy equipment and ensure a safe working environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.

Qualification:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy.

Experience:
• Relevant clinical experience in physiotherapy services; homecare experience preferred.

Skills:
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
