Physiotherapist (Homecare)

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Plan, supervise, and deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to patients.
• Assess patients’ functional status and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement, evaluate, and adjust physiotherapy interventions to maximize patient functional independence.
• Ensure safe and effective discharge planning for all patients.
• Participate in continuing education to update skills and knowledge.
• Implement departmental policies and procedures, and participate in departmental and organizational meetings.
• Organize and conduct in-service training sessions for staff, assistants, and volunteers.
• Teach and supervise physiotherapy students, providing regular feedback and documentation of clinical placements.
• Maintain accurate documentation, statistics, and patient records in compliance with departmental and IT policies.
• Provide home care programs, discharge instructions, and communicate patient progress with consultants.
• Adhere to safe work practices, infection control, and safety/emergency procedures.
• Organize and maintain physiotherapy equipment for safe use.
• Pursue professional development and implement quality improvement practices.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement activities, education sessions, and supervision meetings.

Qualification:
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) required.

Experience:
• Proven experience in physiotherapy, preferably in homecare or hospital settings.
• Experience supervising and teaching students is an advantage.

Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safe patient handling and infection control procedures.
• Ability to manage patient care independently and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to quality improvement and professional development.
