Roles & Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans in consultation with treating consultants
• Deliver therapeutic exercises, mobilization, electrotherapy, and structured rehabilitation programs
• Provide pre- and post-operative physiotherapy to optimize patient recovery and mobility
• Manage and oversee physiotherapy services in critical care areas including ICU, CCU, NICU, and PICU
• Ensure safe patient mobilization and effective chest physiotherapy in critical care settings
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications
• Maintain accurate treatment records, progress notes, and departmental statistics
• Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and safe usage of physiotherapy equipment
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with doctors, nurses, and rehabilitation teams
• Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, NABH standards, and infection control protocols
• Lead, supervise, and guide the physiotherapy team as Head of Department
Qualifications
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) or Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) from a recognized institution
Experience
• 10–15 years of clinical physiotherapy experience
• Strong exposure to critical care physiotherapy is mandatory

• Strong clinical decision-making and patient assessment skills
