Ozcare is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist to join its Community Care branch in Cairns, Queensland, Australia. In this full-time role, the physiotherapist will work with a varied caseload of community clients funded through multiple government programs. Responsibilities
• Visit community clients to assess and treat various health conditions
• Provide physiotherapy care for musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardio-respiratory conditions
• Develop safe and effective home exercise programs for clients
• Conduct mobility assessments and rehabilitation interventions in home and community settings
• Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Collaborate with case managers and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
• Provide referrals to other healthcare services such as nursing, occupational therapy, or dietetics when required
• Assist clients with mobility aids through programs like MASS, GEAT2GO, and NDIS
Required Qualification
• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Current Police Screening Certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current Queensland driver’s licence
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR, Varicella, and Pertussis
• Good computer and mobile device skills
