Job Description
Ozcare is seeking a Full-Time Physiotherapist for its Chermside Community Care branch in Brisbane, Queensland. The role involves visiting community clients to assess, treat, and rehabilitate a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardio-respiratory presentations. You will work autonomously while being supported by a state-wide Allied Health team.

Responsibilities
• Conduct home visits to assess and treat community clients
• Deliver goal-oriented physiotherapy interventions
• Develop safe and independent home exercise programs
• Perform mobility assessments and functional rehabilitation
• Report to case managers and recommend appropriate interventions
• Facilitate referrals to nursing, OT, dietetics and other services as required
• Apply for mobility aids through MASS, GEAT2GO and NDIS funding programs
Required Qualification
• Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Current Queensland Driver’s Licence
• Current Police Screening Certificate
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
• Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• First Aid and CPR Certification
• Proof of required immunisations (MMR, Varicella, Pertussis)
Experience and Skills
• Experience in community or rehabilitation physiotherapy (preferred)
• Strong clinical reasoning across MSK, neurological and cardio-respiratory conditions
• Ability to work autonomously in community settings
• Good computer and mobile device skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Warm, client-focused approach
