Job Description
Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service is seeking a full-time Physiotherapist to join the Women’s and Children’s Allied Health Team based in Birtinya, Queensland. The Physiotherapist will deliver patient-centred physiotherapy services across women’s health and paediatric caseloads, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to meet clinical demand and maintain high-quality, evidence-based care. The role may involve working across Sunshine Coast University Hospital and Gympie Hospital as required to meet service needs.

Responsibilities
• Provide physiotherapy services for women’s health and paediatric inpatient and outpatient caseloads
• Apply evidence-based practice and follow clinical protocols
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation, patient records, and departmental statistics
• Participate in quality and service improvement initiatives
• Assist across services and facilities as needed, including leave cover and succession planning
Required Qualification
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Competence in women’s health and paediatric physiotherapy
Educational Requirement
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy from a recognised university
• Current AHPRA registration
