About the Role
Roles and Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals to identify functional abilities, limitations, and goals
• Develop individualised treatment plans and intervention strategies to maximise independence, functional capacity, and quality of life
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions
• Collaborate with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop person-centred care plans
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance daily living skills, cognitive abilities, mobility, and self-care
• Provide education and support to clients, caregivers, and support workers
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities
Qualification
• Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
• Current AHPRA registration
• Valid Australian driver’s licence
• Current or willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check
Experience
• Experience working as a Physiotherapist in aged care or allied health settings (preferred)
• Experience in delivering individualised and group therapy sessions (preferred)
Skills
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Organised and detail-oriented for accurate documentation
• Person-centred approach with empathy and professionalism
