About the Role
Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily OP, IP & OT pharmacy operations ensuring accurate, safe dispensing
• Ensure complete NABH compliance and regulatory adherence
• Conduct routine medication audits and documentation checks
• Manage OT implants, surgical consumables and implant traceability
• Supervise compounding, dispensing, labeling and packaging activities
• Train, mentor and monitor pharmacy staff and interns
• Ensure controlled drug storage, handling and disposal
• Maintain inventory, stock levels and cost tracking systems
• Educate patients and clinical staff on drug usage, interactions and storage
• Ensure medication purity, strength and identity through routine checks
• Maintain detailed pharmacy records and documentation
Education:
B.Pharm (Mandatory)
Experience:
Minimum 5 years as Hospital Pharmacy Manager / In-charge
Orthopaedic OT exposure preferred
Skills & Knowledge:
• NABH standards and audits
• OT implants and surgical consumables
• Hospital pharmacy compounding
• Inventory & cost control
• Leadership & staff supervision
• Strong communication & documentation skills
