About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Assist in delivering comprehensive pharmacy services under the supervision of a registered Pharmacist
• Support dispensing of prescriptions and individual patient medication supply for inpatients
• Manage ward imprest supply and maintain medication availability in assigned wards
• Assist with clinical documentation including adverse drug reaction records
• Repack medications as per pharmacy requirements and guidelines
• Maintain stock levels through imprest systems with minimal supervision
• Support stock control activities including receipt, storage, and inventory maintenance of pharmaceuticals
• Contribute to health equity initiatives, supporting culturally safe and inclusive healthcare practices
Qualification
• Relevant pharmacy support qualification or equivalent healthcare-related education (as per hospital requirements)
Experience
• Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare pharmacy setting preferred
• Fresh or early-career candidates with relevant exposure may be considered
Skills
• Basic understanding of pharmacy dispensing and medication handling
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work under supervision and follow standard procedures
• Good documentation and organizational skills
• Team-oriented mindset with commitment to patient safety and equity
