Pharmacovigilance Services Assoc Manager
About the Role
Role & Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end pharmacovigilance activities aligned with global regulatory requirements
• Oversee case identification, data entry, MedDRA coding, case processing, submissions, and follow-ups for ICSRs
• Handle affiliate mailbox management and reconciliation of safety reports
• Perform written follow-ups for both serious and non-serious adverse event cases
• Ensure compliance with client guidelines and global PV regulations
• Analyse and resolve moderately complex pharmacovigilance and drug safety issues
• Develop solutions by adapting existing methods and procedures where required
• Understand and align team objectives with strategic direction set by senior management
• Interact with internal stakeholders, peers, supervisors, and client management
• Manage medium to small-sized teams or work efforts
• Support operational delivery in rotational shifts, if required
Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy
Experience
• 10–14 years of experience in Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety
• Strong exposure to clinical safety, post-marketing surveillance, and regulatory reporting
Skills
• Pharmacovigilance and Drug Safety Surveillance expertise
• ICSR case processing and global safety reporting knowledge
• MedDRA coding and safety database experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Team management and stakeholder communication skills
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts
