Regulatory Affairs Associate

Roles & Responsibilities
• Support regulatory compliance of cosmetic products in Australia and New Zealand
• Provide Regulatory Affairs support for potential export markets
• Assist in ensuring compliance with evolving cosmetic regulatory requirements
• Review chemicals against the AICIS Inventory and support AICIS compliance obligations
• Maintain new product introduction systems and Product Master databases
• Assist in developing and reviewing compliant labelling for internal and external brands
• Support product safety processes, product complaints, corrective actions, and investigations
• Assist with international trade compliance including border control, importing and exporting requirements
• Maintain and update regulatory systems and databases ensuring data integrity and IP protection

Qualification
• Degree in Science or Law or equivalent qualification (preferred)

Experience
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Regulatory Affairs
• Experience in cosmetics or personal care regulatory environment preferred
• Exposure to trade control and compliance regulations advantageous

Skills
• Strong understanding of cosmetic regulatory frameworks
• Familiarity with regulatory agencies including AICIS, EPA-NZ, and ABF
• Good knowledge of international trade and compliance processes
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and database systems
• High attention to detail in submission reports and regulatory documentation
• Strong organisational and communication skills
