Pharmacist / Warehouse Executive

Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensure dispensing, storage, and handling of pharmaceutical products in compliance with the Drugs & Cosmetics Act and applicable regulations
• Verify prescriptions (where applicable) and ensure correct product, batch, and expiry during dispatch
• Maintain pharmacy licenses, statutory registers, and audit documentation
• Ensure cold-chain compliance for temperature-sensitive medicines
• Monitor near-expiry, expired, and damaged stock and take corrective actions
• Manage warehouse operations including inward, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of medicines and medical supplies
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS systems
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations
• Track GRN, batch numbers, expiry dates, and serial numbers
• Coordinate with logistics partners for timely deliveries, returns, and reverse logistics
• Ensure accurate and timely order processing and fulfillment
• Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and customer support teams
• Handle returns, replacements, and order escalations with minimal errors
• Implement and follow SOPs for pharmacy and warehouse operations
• Support internal and external audits, inspections, and compliance checks
• Identify process gaps and suggest continuous operational improvements

Qualifications
• B.Pharm / D.Pharm (mandatory)
• Registered Pharmacist with the State Pharmacy Council

Experience
• 2–5 years of experience in pharmacy operations and/or warehouse management
• Exposure to e-pharmacy, diagnostics, healthcare supply chain, or cold-chain logistics
• Experience handling audits and regulatory inspections

Skills
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical storage, handling, and regulatory compliance
• Hands-on experience with inventory management systems
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Basic proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems
