Pharmacist / Senior Pharmacist

Roles & Responsibilities
• Liaise with doctors, nurses, and healthcare professionals for safe and effective drug delivery
• Participate in dispensary operations including clinical and accuracy checking of prescriptions
• Ensure compliance with Medicines Ethics and Practice, local policies, risk management, and health & safety protocols
• Dispense and supply medicines, including controlled drugs per hospital policy
• Prepare Purchase Orders (P.O.) and Goods Received Notes (GRN)
• Manage medicine returns due to expiry
• Handle narcotics and maintain proper records
• Source unavailable medicines from nearby chemists
• Manage cash handovers to cashier
• Conduct quarterly stocktaking

Qualification
• Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) / Bachlor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm)

Experience
• 1–7 years in pharmacy or hospital dispensary operations

Skills
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and controlled drugs
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication and coordination with medical staff
• Inventory management and documentation skills
• Understanding of compliance, safety, and risk management
