About the Role

Roles & Responsibilities
• Deliver high-level, client-focused pharmacy services within the Pharmacy Clinical Trials Team
• Provide professional leadership in an evidence-based, multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Support and manage clinical trial medication processes in accordance with GCP standards
• Ensure safe dispensing, storage, and accountability of investigational medicines
• Collaborate with medical, nursing and research teams to optimise patient outcomes
• Participate in a 7-day roster (Monday to Sunday) across designated work units
• Contribute to quality improvement, medication safety, and governance initiatives
• Provide supervision and mentoring to junior pharmacists and support staff as required

Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) from a recognised tertiary institution
• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Postgraduate health-related qualification and/or current GCP certificate desirable

Experience
• Senior-level clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
• Experience in clinical trials or investigational drug services highly desirable
• Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary healthcare collaboration

• Advanced clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• High attention to detail and governance compliance
• Ability to manage workload across rotating rosters including weekends

Compliance Requirements
• Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) requirements: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis
