Pharmacist - Operations - Pharmacist Level 1

Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide operational and clinical pharmacy services within the hospital setting
• Dispense and review medications in accordance with hospital policies
• Participate in medication reconciliation and inpatient medication management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimise patient outcomes
• Contribute to safe and effective medication distribution systems
• Support implementation of innovative pharmacy practices, including partnered medication charting
• Work alongside credentialed accuracy checking technicians to enhance workflow efficiency
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and medication records
• Participate in quality improvement, medication safety, and audit activities
• Provide drug information and professional advice to medical and nursing staff

Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
• Current or eligible registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Intern Pharmacists expecting registration (late 2025 / early 2026) encouraged to apply

Experience
• Hospital pharmacy experience desirable but not essential
• Community pharmacists seeking transition into hospital practice supported through structured training
