Job Description
Ravens Recruitment is recruiting a Pharmacist Manager to lead a community pharmacy team in Armidale. The successful candidate will work closely with the pharmacy owner to oversee daily pharmacy operations, manage the dispensary, and ensure compliance with professional pharmacy standards. The role involves supervising pharmacy staff and delivering patient-centred healthcare services. This is a sole pharmacist role supported by two dispensary technicians and an experienced front-of-shop team.

Work Schedule
• Weekdays: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Roster
• Alternating fortnightly roster
• One week: 40 hours
• Next week: 48 hours
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day pharmacy and dispensary operations.
• Dispense prescriptions accurately and provide medication counselling.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and professional standards.
• Lead and supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and retail team members.
• Maintain compliance with Quality Care Pharmacy Program (QCPP) standards.
• Support pharmacy services aligned with 8CPA community pharmacy programs.
• Provide vaccination services where accredited.
• Deliver high-quality patient care and maintain strong relationships with the local community.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent pharmacy qualification.
• Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Experience working in community pharmacy settings.
Preferred Skills
• Experience managing dispensary operations or pharmacy teams.
• Vaccination accreditation preferred.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a sole pharmacist role.
• Commitment to professional standards and patient-focused care.
Salary & Benefits
• Annual Salary: Approximately $150,000 per year (~$65.56/hour) depending on experience.
