Pharmacist Manager
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Broken Hill Health Service Pharmacy Department
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical services and patient outcomes
• Supervise pharmacists, interns, and pharmacy technicians
• Develop and implement student training programs
• Lead quality improvement activities in collaboration with the District Director of Pharmacy
Qualification:
• Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy
• Current unrestricted registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA
Experience:
• Relevant clinical experience within a hospital pharmacy
• Experience supervising staff and managing a pharmacy service or team
• Experience in quality improvement programs within hospital pharmacy systems
Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary settings
• Commitment to rural and remote healthcare service delivery
