Job Description
A Permanent Pharmacist position is available at Ramsay Pharmacy Rockhampton. The role is open to both full-time and part-time applicants, offering flexible working arrangements.
The pharmacist will lead daily pharmacy operations, provide professional services, and ensure safe medication supply in compliance with Australian regulatory standards. The position also encourages involvement in community health initiatives and professional development programs.
Relocation assistance of up to $1,500 (terms and conditions apply) is available for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients and customers
• Accurately dispense prescription medicines in accordance with regulations
• Provide professional counselling on medication use and health management
• Lead daily pharmacy operations and medication supply processes
• Promote and deliver professional services including immunisation programs
• Participate in health campaigns and community initiatives
• Maintain compliance with AHPRA and pharmacy legislation
• Ensure accurate documentation and medication safety standards
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment
• Support business operations and contribute to continuous improvement
Educational and Registration Requirements
• Bachelor of Pharmacy – Mandatory
• Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Mandatory
Experience and Skills
Experience:
• Community pharmacy experience preferred
• Immunisation accreditation desirable
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in pharmacy dispensing software
• Strong understanding of PBS processes and medication safety
• Knowledge of Australian pharmacy regulations
Behavioral Skills:
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills
• Leadership capability and team collaboration
• Organisational and time-management skills

Mandatory Compliance Requirements
• Proof of immunisation status
