Pharmacist

Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense medications as per approved treatment protocols within BHISHM Cube
• Maintain accurate and updated drug inventory and stock registers
• Ensure proper record-keeping of dispensing activities and stock movement
• Assist in procurement, replenishment, and management of essential drugs and medical supplies
• Ensure compliance with Pharmacy regulations, institutional policies, and quality standards
• Assist in collection, labeling, and preparation of biological samples as required
• Maintain records of laboratory support activities and equipment maintenance
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of medicines, reagents, and supplies
• Support deployment, operation, and demobilization of BHISHM Cubes as per SOPs
• Perform any other duties assigned by the competent authority

Qualification
• B.Pharm from a recognized university AND registered with Pharmacy Council with minimum 2 years post-qualification experience OR
• 10+2 (Science – PCB) from recognized institute AND Diploma in Pharmacy from PCI recognized institute AND registered with Pharmacy Council with minimum 3 years post-qualification experience

Experience
• Minimum 2–3 years post essential qualification experience (as applicable)
• Experience in hospital/clinical pharmacy setting preferred
• Immediate joining required

Skills
• Strong knowledge of drug dispensing and inventory management
• Understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance standards
• Record keeping and documentation skills
• Basic computer knowledge (Desirable)
• Ability to work in emergency/field healthcare setup
• Good communication and coordination skills

About The Organisation
The position is under the “BHISHM Cubes” project funded by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW) under the Central Sector Scheme “PM - ABHIM.” The initiative focuses on strengthening healthcare preparedness through modular emergency medical units to enhance healthcare response and delivery systems.
