Pharmacist

Role & Responsibilities
• Select, procure, store, distribute, dispense, and document pharmaceuticals accurately
• Review prescriptions thoroughly, clarify queries with physicians and insurance providers, and counsel patients appropriately
• Dispense controlled and semi-controlled medications and maintain HAAD-compliant records
• Supervise Assistant Pharmacists and related pharmacy staff
• Manage and supervise pharmacy operations during assigned working hours
• Advise physicians on drug equivalents and substitutes and support rational drug usage
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and pharmaceutical quality indicators
• Adhere to all pharmacy laws, circulars, and regulatory requirements
• Respond to emergencies and be available on call as required
• Comply with OSH policies, waste management procedures, and safety standards
• Participate in OSH and infection control training, mock drills, and awareness programs
• Report hazards, incidents, and near misses and assist in risk assessments

Qualification
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
• Valid Pharmacist license in home country
• HAAD License to practice in Abu Dhabi

Experience
• 2 – 7 years of experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care facility
