Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense medications as per valid prescriptions and treatment protocols
• Maintain accurate records of drug dispensing and stock movement
• Manage drug inventory and ensure timely replenishment of essential medicines
• Verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and compliance with guidelines
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medicines as per regulatory standards
• Maintain pharmacy registers and documentation as per departmental norms
• Assist in public health programs and outreach activities as assigned
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and institutional policies
Qualification
• D. Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) from a recognized institution
• Registration with the Pharmacy Council of India / State Pharmacy Council
Experience
• Relevant experience preferred as per departmental norms
Skills
• Knowledge of drug dispensing and inventory management
• Understanding of pharmacy laws and compliance standards
• Basic computer knowledge for record maintenance
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and patient-focused approach
