About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Accurately dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and professional standards
• Conduct thorough patient consultations to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Deliver vaccination services in line with regulatory requirements
• Perform comprehensive medication reviews to optimise therapeutic outcomes
• Provide health screenings and basic health checks (BP, glucose, cholesterol etc.)
• Offer tailored healthcare advice and counselling to patients
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy board regulations and professional guidelines
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Monitor medication interactions and provide clinical interventions when required
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and allied health professionals for integrated care
• Supervise and support pharmacy assistants and junior pharmacists
• Mentor and train team members to maintain high service standards
• Oversee stock management and ensure availability of essential medicines
• Maintain controlled drug registers and regulatory compliance
• Support implementation of community health programs and awareness initiatives
• Ensure high standards of customer service and patient confidentiality
• Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives
Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
• Registered Pharmacist qualification
• Current registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
Experience
• Proven experience working as a Senior Pharmacist or in a leadership pharmacy role
• Experience in vaccination delivery and medication review services preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance
