About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense medicines as per prescription and hospital protocols
• Ensure safe storage, labeling, and inventory management of drugs
• Maintain pharmacy records and documentation as per statutory requirements
• Comply with Pharmacy Act 1948 and Delhi Pharmacy Council regulations
• Work in general shift or rotational 3-shift duties as per hospital requirement
• Follow oral and written instructions issued by authorized officers of Indira Gandhi Hospital
• Maintain conduct at par with Government servant standards
• Adhere to TCIL Conduct, Discipline and Appeal Rules
• Ensure timely completion of assigned work and milestones
• Maintain honesty, integrity, and professional ethics
Qualification
• Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized university or equivalent
• Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948
• Must register with Delhi Pharmacy Council within six months of joining
Experience
• Experience calculated from date of attaining minimum essential qualification
• Minimum age: 18 years
• Upper age limit: 27 years (Age relaxation as per reservation rules)
• Essential post qualification experience must be in full-time mode
Vacancies

Remuneration
• Rs. 43,800/- per month (Consolidated – Basic + DA @ 50%)
• No other allowance admissible
• Remuneration fixed during contract period
Contract Period
• Minimum 06 months or till agreement period as specified
• One month notice period for termination
• No claim for regularization or permanent appointment
• Contract employee shall not claim parity in emoluments
Entitlements During Contract
• Leave: 1 day per month (Maximum 12 days per year, accumulation up to 3 days only)
• Maternity benefit as per Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 (for eligible female employees)
• No accommodation or HRA provided
• No statutory, legal, or financial powers to be exercised
Working Hours
• As per Indira Gandhi Hospital working hours
• General shift or rotational 3 shifts as required
• Proportionate deduction for absence or repeated late coming
• Compensatory off for Sunday/Holiday duty (if applicable)
Selection Process
• Selection through Skill Test / Interview (Delhi)
• Final selection based on merit (qualification + experience + interview)
• Police clearance and medical fitness verification after selection

• Knowledge of hospital pharmacy operations
• Understanding of drug dispensing and regulatory compliance
• Record keeping and documentation skills
• Professional conduct and discipline
• Ability to work in shifts
• Good communication and coordination skills
About The Company
Indira Gandhi Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi is recruiting contractual manpower through TCIL (Telecommunications Consultants India Limited), a Government of India Enterprise. The selected Pharmacist will be deployed on contractual basis under outsourcing arrangement for hospital operations, strictly governed by TCIL policies and Government reservation rules.
