About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense medications accurately as per prescriptions
• Counsel patients on proper usage, dosage, and potential side effects
• Verify prescriptions for interactions with other drugs or patient health conditions
• Maintain records of medications dispensed and other administrative tasks
• Supervise pharmacy interns or assistants, if applicable
• Advise patients on general health and wellness related to medications
Qualification
• D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) / B.Pharm (Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy) / M.Pharm (Master's degree in Pharmacy) from recognised university
Experience
• Fresher or 1–3 years in pharmacy/dispensing roles
Skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with patients
• Knowledge of medications, therapies, and pharmaceutical regulations
• Ability to manage multiple patients efficiently
• Administrative and record-keeping skills
