About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense medicines accurately as per prescription and ECHS guidelines
• Maintain proper storage, handling, and inventory of pharmaceutical supplies
• Ensure compliance with the Pharmacy Act 1948 and related regulations
• Provide medication counselling and dosage guidance to beneficiaries
• Maintain records of issued medicines and stock registers
• Coordinate with Medical Officers and healthcare staff for effective patient care
• Monitor expiry dates and manage procurement requirements
Qualification
• B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) from a recognized institute OR
• 10+2 with Science stream from a recognized board
• Approved Diploma in Pharmacy recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India
• Registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
Experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience (as applicable under eligibility criteria)
Skills
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical dispensing practices
• Inventory and stock management capability
• Good communication and patient counselling skills
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Age Limit
• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 45 years
• Age relaxation as per Government norms
