Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense prescribed medicines accurately as per hospital policy
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of drugs and medical supplies
• Check prescriptions for correctness and compliance
• Ensure proper labeling, dosage instructions, and patient guidance
• Maintain pharmacy records, stock registers, and issue logs
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure timely replacement of medicines
• Follow ECHS rules, SOPs, and statutory pharmacy guidelines
• Support medical officers in daily pharmacy operations
Qualification
• B.Pharm or D.Pharm from a recognized institute
Skills
• Knowledge of drug dispensing and storage practices
• Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations
• Attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Basic computer knowledge for documentation
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
Age Limit
• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 45 years
• Age relaxation as per ECHS rules
