About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Manage and oversee all dispensary operations as the sole pharmacist
• Accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional standards
• Provide patient counselling to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Conduct medication reviews and provide clinical interventions where required
• Monitor prescription appropriateness and identify potential drug interactions
• Maintain accurate dispensing records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations
• Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management
• Manage controlled drug registers and ensure legislative compliance
• Deliver high-quality customer service in a patient-focused environment
• Collaborate with nearby managing partners for operational and professional support
• Maintain dispensary workflow efficiency with fewer than 100 scripts per day
• Ensure adherence to professional standards and community pharmacy best practices
• Support health promotion initiatives and community engagement
• Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant dispensary environment
• Contribute to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy
• AHPRA-registered Pharmacist
Experience
• Experience in community pharmacy preferred
• Ability to confidently work independently as a sole pharmacist
• Experience with FRED dispensing system desirable but not essential
Skills
• Strong dispensing accuracy and clinical knowledge
• Ability to work independently with confidence
• Excellent patient counselling and communication skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Sound knowledge of pharmacy legislation and compliance
• Customer-focused and community-oriented mindset

Benefits
• $60 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
• $2,000 relocation allowance
• $250 weekly accommodation allowance
