Pharmacist

Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense prescribed medicines and ensure accurate drug distribution as per prescription and NHM protocols
• Maintain stock, inventory records, and drug storage as per government and pharmacy guidelines
• Ensure proper labeling, dispensing, and patient counselling on medication usage
• Monitor expiry, quality, and safe storage of medicines in pharmacy units (UPHC/NHM facilities)
• Maintain pharmacy registers, reports, and documentation for audits and program records
• Support National Health Mission (NHM) program implementation and drug supply management
• Coordinate with medical officers, nursing staff, and health program teams

Qualifications
• Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institute
• Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Registration Council
• Preference for candidates with experience in government health programs

Experience
• Experience in hospital pharmacy, NHM, or public health facilities preferred
• Freshers with valid registration may also apply (as per post eligibility)

Salary
• Pharmacist – NHM: ₹16,500 per month (fixed)
• Pharmacist – NUHM (UPHC): ₹16,500 per month (fixed)
