Roles & Responsibilities
• Accurately dispense prescriptions in accordance with legal and professional standards
• Provide patient counselling to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Deliver high-quality community pharmacy services
• Monitor medication usage and identify potential drug interactions
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Support smooth dispensary workflow and daily pharmacy operations
• Provide healthcare advice and minor ailment support
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and professional guidelines
• Maintain controlled drug registers and required documentation
• Collaborate with pharmacy assistants and support staff
• Participate in stock management and inventory control
• Contribute to maintaining a patient-focused and welcoming environment
• Support continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy
• Registered Pharmacist with current AHPRA registration
Experience
• Newly registered pharmacists encouraged to apply
• Experienced pharmacists also welcome
Skills
• Strong dispensing accuracy and clinical knowledge
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good organisational and time management abilities
• Professional and ethical approach to patient care
• Adaptability in a community pharmacy setting
