About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately as per hospital policies
• Review prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, and contraindications
• Maintain proper storage and inventory of medicines as per regulatory standards
• Ensure compliance with hospital formulary and pharmacy protocols
• Maintain patient medication records and documentation
• Provide drug information and counseling to patients and healthcare staff
• Monitor and report adverse drug reactions (ADRs)
• Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for safe and effective medication use
Qualification
• B. Pharm (Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy) / D. Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy) from a recognized institution
• 12th (Science stream) as applicable
• Valid Pharmacy Registration (State Pharmacy Council)
Experience
• Relevant experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred
• Freshers may apply if eligible as per recruitment guidelines
Skills
• Strong clinical pharmacology and medication safety knowledge
• Understanding of NABH accreditation standards
• Experience in antimicrobial stewardship programs
• Good communication and patient counseling skills
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• Basic computer proficiency for hospital information systems
Age Limit
• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years
