Pharmacist Intern
About the Role
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Dispense medications and manage prescription workflows under supervision
• Provide patient counselling and deliver exceptional customer service
• Manage dispensary stock including ordering, unpacking, and inventory control
• Assist with PBS claims, administrative tasks, and pharmacy services
• Participate in clinical programs such as medication reviews and vaccinations
• Maintain a well-organized and professional pharmacy environment
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to provide accurate drug information
Qualification:
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm)
• Current AHPRA provisional registration as a Pharmacy Intern
Experience:
• Previous Australian pharmacy experience (1–2 years preferred)
• S2/S3 Certificate III in Community Pharmacy highly regarded
Skills:
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• High attention to detail and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Motivation to learn and complete internship requirements
• Flexibility to adapt to rosters and additional shifts
