Pharmacist In-Charge

Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead and manage daily dispensary operations (approx. 250 scripts per day)
• Supervise and support two Pharmacists and an Intern
• Ensure safe, accurate, and compliant dispensing practices
• Deliver high-quality patient counselling and professional pharmacy services
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the local community
• Oversee workflow management and team coordination
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and professional standards
• Mentor and develop pharmacy team members
• Support stock control, inventory management, and operational efficiency

Qualification
• Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
• Current registration with Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)

Experience
• Experience in community pharmacy practice
• Prior leadership or Pharmacist In Charge experience preferred

Skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent clinical and patient counselling skills
• High attention to detail and dispensing accuracy
• Effective communication and mentoring capability
• Ability to manage workflow in a busy dispensary environment
