Job Description
This is a full-time permanent role based at Adeney Private Hospital in Kew, Victoria, within the Slade Pharmacy network. The Pharmacist in Charge will manage the day-to-day operations of the onsite pharmacy, overseeing medication dispensing, stock management, PBS claiming, and patient counselling. Working closely with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and hospital administration, this role ensures smooth workflows and optimal patient outcomes. Key Features of the Role: Responsibilities
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring accurate and timely dispensing of medications for wards, theatres, and day oncology units

• Coordinate workflow, manage dispensing activities, and maintain optimal stock levels

Required Qualifications
• General registration as a pharmacist with AHPRA
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or equivalent qualification recognized in Australia or New Zealand
• Previous experience in hospital or community pharmacy settings, preferably in Australia or New Zealand
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while effectively contributing to a close-knit team
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualifications in clinical pharmacy, leadership, or management are desirable but not essential
